Suicide Runs

Interval training is one of the best and quickest ways to burn calories so in honor of March Madness, what better way to put a little madness into your workout routine. You may be wondering what a suicide run is and if you have never played basketball you probably have never heard of this kind of run. All you need is a basketball court or a clear field about the size of a basketball court.

Here is how:
Basketball court (or large clear field): Begin at baseline run (start line)and run to the foul line ( 20 feet), back to base line, run to half court line (45 feet), back to base line, run to opposite end foul line (65 feet), back to base line, run to opposite end baseline (90 feet), back to baseline, run to opposite end foul line (65 feet) , back to base line, run to half court line (45 feet), back to baseline, run to foul line (20 feet), and finally back to baseline. (This should also be timed as well, your time should be decreased each time you perform this run, in addition to working on decreasing your rest time in between runs)
