An Inexpensive Exercise for Quickness, Rhythm, Agility and More!

Jumping rope or otherwise known as skipping rope, is an excellent form of exercise for getting in shape or even better for just having fun. A wonderful thing about this exercise is that the whole family has fun and doing it. What a great way to lose weight, do some cardio training, or use it to train for other sports like basketball and track. Some of the best things about this exercise is that it is inexpensive, you don’t need a special facility (just a room with high ceilings or outdoors), and the more you do it the better and more variety you begin to have to your jumping skills. Jumping rope develops your aerobic conditioning, your muscular endurance, quickness, timing, rhythm and your agility skills. You can jump fast, slow, single leg, double leg, and alternating legs. The best thing is you just have to PLAY with the rope. Beware your kids will want to join you, so go ahead a make it a family affair.
